Registration for the upcoming kindergarten year (2026–2027) for children aged 3–6 is now open.

The school year will begin for returning children on Wednesday, August 26, 2026,
while new children will start on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

The school year will end on Friday, July 23, 2027.

About the Kindergarten

HaBayit on Rothschild is an early childhood kindergarten based on the kibbutz model, operating with a broad educational and cultural approach.

At the heart of this approach are the cultivation of friendship, mutual respect, sensitivity, and helping others, alongside encouraging cooperation, initiative, curiosity, creativity, original thinking, independence, and responsibility.
These values are integrated into the daily routine and form a natural part of the educational experience.

A Few Words Before Beginning the Process

Naturally, priority in registration will be given to returning children and their siblings.

At the same time, a number of places are expected to become available, and we would be happy to get to know new families who are interested in joining.

Stage One — Initial Personal Inquiry

You are invited to send a personal introductory email between April 7 and April 17, 2026 to:

Families who have contacted us in the past are also welcome to reach out again, so we can rely on updated information as part of the current process.

In your message, please include:

• Parents’ names and family name

• Any details you wish to share about yourselves

• Child’s date of birth

• How and where you heard about the kindergarten

• Whether you have visited the kindergarten before

Stage Two — Initial Visit

This visit allows for a first impression of the atmosphere and spirit of the kindergarten —
a quiet and pleasant encounter where sometimes a single glance says more than words.

Naturally, the visit is brief, in order to preserve the children’s daily routine.

Stage Three — Personal Meeting

Families who have submitted an inquiry, visited the kindergarten, and wish to continue the process are invited to request a personal meeting.

Each meeting lasts approximately one hour.

Purpose: mutual acquaintance and an open conversation about the kindergarten.

We will do our best to respond to all requests, though we apologize in advance if we are unable to accommodate everyone.

A Few Small Things to Know

• The initial stages of the process are intended for parents only

• All children are wonderful, amazing, and suitable from the start :)

 

Official Registration

Official registration will take place during June
(exact details will be provided later).

Before the School Year — Integration Process

Toward the end of August, new children will be invited to personal introductory meetings at the kindergarten, accompanied by their families,
to become familiar with the space calmly, comfortably, and with a sense of security.

In addition, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, a festive Open House event will be held for the new children and their families.
